Brooke Ballard, a freshman chemical engineer at the University of Tennessee, has come back home to her Michigan roots for the summer. This will be her third summer with Lifebuilders and she will work as an intern doing a variety of jobs for us. She is proud to be a camp counselor for the third year in a row; her goal for camp is to creat a science lab activity to get the Lifebuilders kids interested in the wonders of STEM fields. She will be assisting in grant submissions and general administrative tasks throughout the summer. 

Over the past couple of months Gabrielle Hampton has joined us on staff. Gabby has a Bachelors Degree from Wayne State University. We added two additional part-time staff in key positions as well. Chris Vitale has taken on the responsibility for our youth sports program and Norma Foster has joined us in the position of Community Liason. We are excited that they have all decided to join us in this work.

Our search for an experienced Summer Camp director has come to end. We are delighted to announce that Leslie has decided to lead this very important part of the ministry this summer. Leslie teaches school in Ann Arbor and is a member of Grace Community Church in Ann Arbor.
