2020 In Review
The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear and timidity. Wisdom, Power, and Love are His to give. When we look back on 2020 we can't help but say, “God is faithful”. We were able to provide thousands of meals, keep residents in their homes, minister to and provide jobs for 30 teens, supply a thousand Christmas gifts and nearly a hundred winter coats, but most importantly, our community experienced firsthand the love of Jesus Christ.
This incredible year of ministry was made possible thanks to the support of soooo many wonderful donors. It was a team effort, a real partnership that kept hope alive in 2020. We were a stabilizing factor in the community amidst the most difficult time for many in their life. We praise the Lord for His provision.
We begin the new year with great humility as we believe the Lord is going to accomplish even more in 2021. The pandemic has provided us with ministry opportunities like no time in our history. Partnership and collaborative opportunities abound. It’s a time to move out boldly. We are not afraid to move ahead with important plans, things that matter to the community, that affect the very people that the Lord is reaching out to with His love.
Here’s what we believe for 2021. We believe we’re going to experience an outpouring of God’s spirit on this work like never before. We believe that we’ll touch more lives as a result of the new opportunities presented as a result of Covid-19 and more people will see and experience the love of Christ and surrender their lives to Him than ever before. The community will become whole, lives will be transformed.
We believe there will be an outpouring of financial support as people see the full measure of our transformative work like nothing ever before seen or experienced. We believe that we will win this war, that we will push back and crush the evil and more opportunities and hope will be present than ever before.
We believe more people will volunteer than ever before and that our neighborhood will become a safe, desirable place to live. We believe that more people will purchase homes, and be presented with more jobs alongside career counseling. We believe that more neighbors will get engaged in the mission as they believe that they have power in the Lord Jesus to accomplish all things. We believe that the Light will push out the darkness.
In summary, to God be the glory. At the end of 2021 we believe we’ll say once again “God is faithful, and His grace is more than sufficient.”
Join us in some way in 2021
