Our Mission
We exist to bring revitalization to a largely neglected community by becoming instruments of Christ’s love to the residents of Regent Park. The programs and opportunities that we offer are an invitation to greater growth and encouragement in the most difficult of circumstances.
What We Do
Reclaim the neighborhood
We fight against the effects of decades of blight and disinvestment by producing real, tangible change in the physical attributes of our community. We create change through the rehabilitation of houses, community cleanup, and blight removal.
Rebuild community
We seek to help form new connections in our neighborhood by providing a place for neighbors to come together and have times of fellowship. We break down the relational barriers within our community so that our neighborhood can be formed into one that’s marked by mutual support.
empower the youth
We recognize that our youth are the future of our community. Therefore, we seek to build them up spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically, through various programs that are able to provide them with unique and exciting opportunities.
Our Impact
The impact that we’ve been able to make on our neighborhood of Detroit has been nothing short of a miracle. God has used us to do things far beyond anything we could have asked or imagined, and we’ve strived to do every part of our work with excellence along the way. Where We Work
We work on the Northeast side of Detroit in a neighborhood called Regent Park. Named in 2011 as “Detroit’s Most Dangerous Zip Code”, Regent Park has been plagued by homicides, drug dealing, and robbery for decades. While the neighborhood may be tough, we know it’s where God has called us to be. And we’re grateful to say that throughout our fifteen years here, there have been great improvements taking place!
